The application source vs the candidate source

Candidate source is the way in which a candidate has been added to the database: manually, using the plugin for LinkedIn, by importing data from an email application, or via the application form attached to a job advertisement.

Application source is a web portal and a website that directed the candidate to the application form. Depending on the particular candidate’s activity, they can have more than one application source.
