Traffit is an ATS - what does it mean?
Let's start by explaining ATS - it stands for applicant tracking system.
By definition, the ATS is used to collect and manage applications in ongoing recruitment processes. It is also still a key feature of the Traffit system.
The first ATSs appeared in the 1990s, and since then the scope of their capabilities has expanded considerably. Today, Traffit is not just an application tracking system, but more like a “candidate relationship management system” or “systems for building and managing a candidate database.” However, we still focus on a specific part of HR activities - recruitment-related.
Who was Traffit made for?
Traffit is a cloud-based solution billed on a subscription model - so anyone who recruits can use it, regardless of scale.
Traffit is used by:
people who represent internal HR departments in companies (HR Managers, recruiters/recruiters, Talent Acquisition specialists and sourcers),
staffing agencies,
public institutions,
freelancers handling recruitment for their clients.
Why is implementing Traffit a good idea?
There are multiple reasons why companies invest in Traffit. The most popular are:
MORE EFFICIENT APPLICATION MANAGEMENT
When there are numerous applications that recruiting teams have to handle, they need a tool that allows them to collect them in one place, easily review, evaluate, and move them to the next stages of the process.
Hiring Managers (people involved in the process, such as future managers of a new hire, or verifying the technical or language knowledge of applicants) can also be involved in recruiting using Trafffit using dedicated limited accounts.
With shared and equal access to data, the circulation of information is faster and more convenient.
IMPROVING CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE
Companies have long understood that what candidates say about them is almost as important to their image as what their customers say. So they want to build relationships from the first contact and guarantee feedback to candidates. Traffit allows you to design the process, take care of the visual side of the offer (the job post and the application form), and communicate efficiently with candidates.
One of Traffit's features that support this, is the automation of email communication. Messages can be sent after an application (confirmation of the application) or when the application is transferred to a specific stage of the process. The message can include personalized elements or even a link to the recuiter's calendar!
Traffit will use a pre-prepared email template and the messages will be sent from the recruiter's mailbox:
TIME (AND COST) OPTIMIZATION
Traffit allows you to monitor the workload of your recruitment team, automate repetitive tasks, and better understand which application sources are most effective.
With the not-inconsiderable cost of publishing on job portals, this is a really powerful knowledge!
Here, it is also worth mentioning Traffit's ability to build your own candidate base by collecting approvals for the future jobs and getting back to applicants when a new vacancy opens up.
DATA SECURITY
The administrator of candidates' data (which - in the case of recruitment - is the prospective employer) should process it following the GDPR rules. Candidates should be informed about who the administrator of their data is (fulfill the legal obligation), give relevant consents, and have the opportunity to withdraw them.
Traffit makes it significantly easier to meet all these obligations. It might seem that some companies do not need an ATS system - such as small companies that recruit mainly offline. These companies often collect candidate data on paper and in Excel files.
Still, every company has to ensure that the data is processed correctly.
Traffit allows you to add scans of application documents or generate a link to an application form, which you can then put on flyers (e.g. as a QR code) and hand out at job fairs. Offline activities do not exclude the use of cloud solutions for data collection and processing.
BETTER INFORMATION FLOW
Traffit's recruitment system allows integration with many popular tools (Google Mail & Calendar, IMAP, LinkedIn, Microsoft Exchange, OLX, Outlook 365, Slack, SMSAPI), and in-house systems (e.g. HR) thanks to an integration API and Zapier coonection.

What features does Traffit system include?
The primary function of Traffit, like any ATS system in the world, is to create recruitment, job posts & application forms, and manage applications in the process.
Our users can see a list of candidates in a given job, assign tags, leave notes or other activities related to an applicant. Just like sales people do with customers in CRM's.
Traffit also allows Career Page integration, easy job post publishing on social media or job portals.
It can also be integrated with other recruiter's tools, such as a calendar, mailbox or SMS messaging system. Thus, it becomes a kind of command center for all ongoing recruitment.
Traffit hasn't slept through the artificial intelligence boom either and has implemented functions based on it, such as recruitment ad writing and data analysis.
