What is Smart Tracker?
Smart Tracker is a unique tracking link, similar to those found in e-commerce and shipment tracking - except that Traffit's Smart Tracker raise your relationships with candidates to a higher level and improves the candidate experience 😊
How to enable Smart Tracker?
Smart Tracker will be launched automatically when you activate the integration with Smart Jobs. Smart Jobs is a job board created by Traffit - and Smart Tracker will be one of its many advantages!
To use Smart Jobs and Smart Tracker, you can sign up for a pre-release in the dedicated Smart Jobs tab in your Traffit:
The tracking link will be sent automatically to every candidate applying from any source (not just Smart Jobs)!
What will candidates see when they receive a Smart Tracker link?
Candidates applying via the application form created in Traffit will receive the link where they can view details of the position they have applied for, along with the current status of their application:
Will the candidate see all stages of the process?
Maybe, but not necessarily!
When editing a stage in the workflow, you can now specify which stages will be visible to candidates in Smart Tracker and what will be their public names (visible to candidates browsing the tracking link):
The exception is the “Waiting list” stage - the candidate will not see information about being placed at this stage in Smart Tracker. Instead, the previous stage will be displayed there.
Will the candidate be informed about the change of status?
Yes, both after the application and after the candidate has been placed on the next stage of the process, Smart Tracker will send an automatic email.
The email with a tracking link is sent immediately after the application.
For the remaining stages, a delay is imposed on the automatic status change message. It also applies to information visible to the candidate after clicking on the tracking link. This gives you a chance to contact the candidate directly before receiving an automated e-mail about a change in status in the Smart Tracker.
The intentional delays are as follows:
24 hours - for rejection of a candidate in the process
2 hours - for each stage during recruitment and when the candidate is employed
Additional info: You can mark a selected stage as “Rejection” if for some reason you use this stage to place candidates who have been rejected for a specific reason with their own dedicated email automation.
