FAQ Smart Jobs & Smart Tracker in Traffit

What stages of the process will my candidates see?

You have full control over the stages of the process that are visible to candidates. Salary negotiation, background checks, internal reviews - these stages can be hidden if you want.

Your processes are too complex to be shown in Smart Tracker?

That's OK! Reveal only the stages you want, showing a simplified flow.

Candidates can only see what you choose to share with them.

In addition, we have intentionally delayed the update of the status that the candidate sees; giving you the chance to share the information in person first.

Remember: You don't have to be fully transparent to benefit - even two visible stages is more than your competitors offer.

Is Smart Tracker for me if my processes aren't fast enough?

This is actually one of the things Smart Tracker helps with.

Even if the process takes longer than the candidate expected, they can always go back to the tracking link and check the status.

This way, they’ll know they’re still in the process and won’t have to wonder if they’ve been rejected (but nobody told them) or reach out to you to ask about the status.

Is Smart Tracker for me if I don't have too many applications?

It’s not about the number of candidates you attract - it’s about the experiences of those you’re already in contact with.

Even if you hire just three people in a quarter, you can provide them with an excellent experience, and your employer brand gains a 3x stronger positive signal.

Is Smart Jobs for me if I have enough good candidates already?

SmartJobs was designed mostly for quality and engagement.

Companies that offer Smart Tracker attract candidates who are actively selecting for employers who communicate well. That's a different kind of self-selection than you get on a general job board.

Besides, the employer brand benefit compounds over time. Every tracking link sent to a candidate is a brand touchpoint - a moment where your company demonstrates it treats people with respect.

Over 170,000 tracking links have been sent through SmartJobs i the first month after the launch. That's 170,000 positive employer brand moments, at zero additional cost.

How is Smart Tracker better than updating candidates manually?

Manual updates are fine - but SmartTracker sends a status update via email automatically to each candidate every time you move them to a stage of your choice in Traffit.

No candidate will be left out just because someone forgot to send an email.

Can I enable Smart Jobs & Smart Tracker anytime?

Sure thing - feel free to do it when the time is right. Simply go to Smart Jobs tab in your system, accept the terms and activate it:

Just remember that starting in July, posting jobs on Smart Jobs will be a paid service. That means the sooner you get started, the more you’ll benefit.

Does Smart Jobs or Smart Tracker shows candidates how many people already applied?

No, it doesn't reveal total applicant numbers, how many people applied, or anything comparative. Candidates will not know if you have lots of (or very few) applicants.

SmartTracker is a personal tracking page - it shows each candidate their own application status. The candidate sees their name, the role, and where they are in the process. Nothing about how many other people are in that process.

Will candidates see that they were rejected in Smart Tracker before we tell them?

No worries, they won't! We intentionally implemented a notification delay buffer - designed specifically to prevent this.

SmartTracker is configured so that candidates always hear from the employer first.

The system delays any status update long enough for your rejection email or call to land before the status page changes.

How much work and time is needed for the setup?

The setup takes approximately 10 minutes inside Traffit and includes 3 simple steps:

  1. Smart Jobs tab > Accepting the terms

  2. Settings tag > Hiring workflows > Choosing stages visible in Tracker

(New + Hired + rejected are visible by default)

  3. Smart Jobs tab > Activation

After that, SmartJobs runs automatically alongside your existing workflow.

There's no separate login, no new system to manage. Every time you move a candidate in Traffit, SmartTracker updates automatically.

The ongoing effort is zero.

The 10-minute setup is the entire cost!

I already use multiple job boards. Why should I post my jobs on Smart Jobs?

SmartJobs isn't a replacement for your other job boards - it's a complementary channel that does something no other Polish job board does: gives candidates real-time pipeline visibility.

You can post the same role e.g. on Pracuj.pl and SmartJobs simultaneously.

The self-selection effect is worth noting: candidates who choose SmartJobs listings are actively choosing employers who communicate well because every job on Smart Jobs is integrated with Smart Tracker (tracking link):

The applicant quality tends to be higher, and drop-off during the process tends to be lower - because candidates who can see their status don't ghost.

How much does posting on Smart Jobs cost?

SmartJobs is currently free for all Traffit customers. When it transitions to a paid platform, companies that activate now will receive 5 complimentary job posts - no expiry, no conditions.

The early adopter offer closes on 30 June 2026.

Activating now means you lock in those 5 free posts before pricing launches.

Does application tracking actually affect my candidates' experience? I don't think it's that important to them.

The evidence suggests otherwise: 70% of candidates report being ghosted by employers - meaning the majority of candidates are actively experiencing the frustration of not knowing where their application stands.

The demand for transparency is high precisely because almost nobody provides it.

Candidates who can track their application are significantly less likely to ghost interviews, accept competing offers out of uncertainty, or drop out of a process mid-way.

The benefit to you is reduced drop-off and better offer acceptance rates - not just candidate satisfaction.
