CORE VALUE

The application sources report was designed for you to find the best-performing application sources and optimize your candidates' acquisition strategy. That also includes UTM's from the traffic on your job posts for a deeper analysis.


WHEN SHOULD YOU USE IT?

1) When you want to know what's the best-performing application source

2) When you want to check if your time and budget are well allocated

3) When planning your recruitment marketing projects

4) To check, if the team is utilizing the existing talent pool

5) To find out which of your jobs are most in demand

6) To check the correlation between application sources and the rejection reasons


HOW TO USE IT?

Use the filters available in the upper right corner to choose the parameters of your report.

You can filter by:

  • Date

  • Application type (candidates that applied for jobs vs those who were assigned from the talent pool)

  • Client (if you are using the CRM module)

  • Workflow

  • Job

  • Job status

  • Responsible user

  • Responsible user group

You can also choose if you want to analyze the general application sources or specific UTM's:

The number of the analyzed unique applications and jobs will be presented at the top of the report:

When browsing this report you can view the data presented in the first section as a chart or as a table:


WHAT SECTIONS ARE INCLUDED IN IT?

Application sources ranking

It's a ranking of:

  • Three most common application sources

  • Top three application sources for offers

  • Top three application sources for hirings

with additional information about their share in the overall number of applications and hirings.

Manual assignment to jobs

Get familiar with the number of candidates assigned to jobs manually by the users from the existing talent pool, via API or using the sourcing extension.

Talent pool usage

Check if the candidates that applied already existed in your candidates' database. Didn't you miss any opportunities to source and hire candidates from your own talent pool?

Application sources in time

Explore the timeline with application sources breakdown into chosen intervals.

Application sources breakdown

Find out which sources have brought you the most applications in the defined time range. Filter results using all UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) to perform a deeper analysis of paid and non-paid activities.

Applications by jobs

Find out which of your jobs is most in demand among your candidates in the defined time range.

Application sources efficiency

Analyze the contribution of each source in the applications acquisition and hirings to find the most efficient source.

Check, how many candidates from these sources:

  • were offered (what % of all applications from this source reached the Offer stage)

  • were hired (what % of all applications from this source reached the Hired stage)

and what was the share of the applications from this source among the hired candidates?

Application sources vs rejection reasons

Get familiar with the rejection reasons of the applicants from particular sources. Filter the results using all UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) to perform a deeper analysis of paid and non-paid activities.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU SHOULD KNOW?

1) You can use this tool to simply add UTM's to the job posts you share.

2) Remember to end up every job created in the system by assigning all the candidates in your pipeline to Hired or Rejected stage. This way, you'll get full information about the effectiveness of every application source.

3) To make this report even more valuable, create a list of rejection reasons and make choosing them obligatory when rejecting a candidate.
